Gustavo is an independent leadership & management, business consultant, and professional coach with over 17 years experience gained from working in the financial services industry.
He is also an eloquent motivational speaker and has worked with a variety of industries, ranging from the financial, energy, logistics & distribution the and Public sectors (including the U.S. British, Argentine and Kuwaiti Governments.)
Before founding Hyperion Leadership Solutions, his corporate experience includes Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and BP, both in the United Kingdom and the U.S. where he was exposed to and excelled at the forever challenging and changing world of trading and investment banking. During this time, he was able to work very closely with, and as a part of the leadership level of these companies, and even orchestrated some of their biggest commercial deals thanks to his interpersonal and relationship skills. At BP he was responsible for the award- winning Trader Development Program in which he taught trader graduates how to trade and succeed in leadership roles.
Over the years, Gustavo has coached, trained and helped over 3,000 people from various industries and backgrounds, including senior executives, mid-level managers and Government Officials. He has taught his leadership and commercial courses in many countries around the world including: the United Kingdom, Kuwait, Singapore, Poland, Venezuela, Trinidad, Chile, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the United States, Qatar, Russia, Canada and Argentina.
In his scholastic years, Gustavo earned his Psychology degree from the University of Buenos Aires. He specialized both in Psychoanalysis and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He also holds degrees in History and Philosophy.
His expertise and knowledge both in Psychology and business are instrumental in his leadership development programs. Building exceptional communication and relationships, humanistic and selfless leadership, intelligent business decisions and positivity are core to his leadership development programs.
A passionate polo player, he is often seen playing at a semi-professional level in the United States, the United Kingdom and Argentina. He is currently writing two books, one on business psychology and strategy and the other on polo strategy. In his spare time, he coaches underprivileged families in south Chicago.
